Updating the façade of a concrete framed building to give it a modern, clean line, glass faced building.
13.5mm thick clear float glass laminated panels 2500mm wide by 5910mm high across end of building and returned down both sides.
Panels vertically supported by 175mm x 25mm thick clear float glass fins, full height structurally siliconed, using Dow Corning 993, to front panels and 3mm thick stainless steel pressed channels packed off, and anchor bolted to existing columns.
All supported on a bed of 140mm x 140mm U.C. beams with 200mm x 100mm x 10mm angles at high level, which also support an upper storey height of stainless steel mesh screen.
